7 p.m. UPDATE:
Goshen police say they aren't sure whether a man found shot this evening near the Meijer store at Market Center was shot where he was found or brought and left there after being shot at another location.
6:30 p.m. UPDATE:
A shooting this evening near the Meijer store in Market Center, Goshen, occurred on the west side of the store near the loading dock, reported Capt. Sandra Snyder of the Goshen Police Department.
No suspect was in custody immediately after the incident, which is believed to have occurred around 5:30 p.m.
GOSHEN — Police are investigating an apparent shooting near the Meijer store in Market Center.
According to preliminary information, one man suffered one or more gunshot wounds behind the store.
A MedFlight helicopter was called to airlift the victim to Memorial Hospital of South Bend. The helicopter left the Meijer parking lot at about 6:15 p.m.
