BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Indiana University South Bend men’s basketball team fell behind early against Olivet Nazarene and fought an uphill battle the rest of the game to close the gap.

Ultimately, the their effort wasn’t enough, and the Titans (15-14, 4-5) fell to the Tigers (17-11, 6-3), 78-69.

Chris Beam’s 24-point effort tied the game at 43 points before Olivet Nazarene pulled away for good. Beam led the Titans, while teammates Kyle and Steve Heatherly chipped in 14 and 12 points.

The Tigers controlled the boards throughout the night, pulling down 39 rebounds to IUSB’s 20.
