Key action: The board heard a presentation from Mike Yoder, Elkhart County commissioner, and Brian Smith of the Education Alliance. Board members will vote during the March 5 meeting on whether to join the Education Alliance.

Other actions:

• Gave certificates to students who won awards in the Scholastic Art Show.

• Heard a presentation from Renee’ Cocanower, director of secondary curriculum, about the annual performance report.
