Elkhart woman injured when car crashes into trolley Wednesday
Juanita Tripp, 65, of Elkhart, was driving south on South West Boulevard near Clinton Avenue when her car went left of center and struck the driver’s side of the trolley, which was traveling north on South West Boulevard, according to a crash report from the Elkhart Police Department.
Tripp’s passenger, 64-year-old Rosemary Lagrand of Elkhart, reported pain to her knee and head, according to the report. She was taken to Elkhart General Hospital.
The driver of the trolley, 70-year-old Gary Dale of Goshen, did not report injuries. None of the eight passengers on the trolley at the time reported injuries.
