The shelter is currently accepting donations of household items in working condition and clean, gently used clothing. No exercise equipment. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart is seeking volunteers for its after-school program. Volunteers are most needed for educational assistance programs, although other volunteers are also welcome. Information: 295-6838.
