Volunteer Community Sewing Day will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Home & Family Arts Building at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Volunteers will help sew or finish handmade items to give to local charities. Volunteers are asked to bring sewing machines if possible.

Those who cannot sew are also welcome to help.

Lunch will be provided. To make a reservation call the Elkhart County Extension Office at 533-0554.

Future sewing dates are March 10, April 3, May 1 and June 5.
