GOSHEN — The Board of Directors of Indiana Community Bank has appointed three new executive officers. Rob Eichorst was named CEO, Jeff Showalter was appointed president and Duane Klein was tapped to be chief credit officer.

The former CEO and president Doug Johnston, who also founded Indiana Community Bank, died in December 2011.

In a statement, the board of directors described the new team of executives as having a “thorough understanding of the local economy” and as being “long-standing residents of Elkhart County and have dedicated their careers toward the betterment of the area.”

Eichorst has been with the bank for five years and was previously the chief credit officer as well as commercial loan officer. Showalter joined the bank in 2006 and was the commercial loan officer. Klein has worked for the bank in Elkhart since 2003.
