Ziker Uniforms

SOUTH BEND – Ziker Uniforms announced the following hires at its South Bend and Griffith offices:

• Spencer McCaslin is a uniform sales representative for north central Indiana and southwest Michigan. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University.

• Chris Hegg is a uniform sales representative for the Chicago area. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Louis University.

• Kevin McCarthy is a uniform sales representative for northwest Indiana. He has more than 18 years of experience in the industrial and material handling industry and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics from DePauw University.

• Andrew Mortek is a production manager. He graduated from Tiffin University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and marketing.

Allstate Insurance Company

ELKHART – Cristine Brock, a local entrepreneur for Allstate Insurance Company, was awarded the president’s conference award for outstanding business achievement. Brock received this honor due to exceptional customer service skills and for surpassing regional sales goals in 2010.

Poly-Wood Inc.

SYRACUSE – Poly-Wood Inc. announced the hiring of two new employees:

• Doug Hertel is marketing manager. He will be responsible for all marketing functions, including advertising, publicity, trade shows and budgeting. Hertel, a resident of Granger, has more than 18 years of marketing and advertising experience.

• Rebecca Tusing is director of administration. She will oversee all activities and personnel in accounting, human resources, reception, customer service and inventory management departments. Tusing, a graduate of Indiana University, has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and public accounting.

B&B Molders LLC

MISHAWAKA – B&B Molders LLC announced the following staff additions:

• Jim McConnell has joined the RV sales staff. With 24 years of experience in the RV industry, he will be serving and expanding the company’s customer base. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University.

• Deanna Polk has been hired as the quality department’s metrologist. She will be responsible for dimensional layouts, custom design gauging and gage calibrations. She has more than 20 years of manufacturing and quality experience.

• Joshua Cranmer has been promoted to master scheduler. He will work with various departments to ensure consistent, on-time customer service and maintain inventory levels. He is a graduate of Northern Center University in Minneapolis.

• Nathan Layher has been hired as a process engineer in the engineering department. He will focus on process optimization and sampling. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in plastics engineering technology from Ferris State University.
