Frustrated
This country was created by those that had a vision for the people. That vision wasn't based on the government being all things to all people, but rather creating a system where the people were free to prosper through hard work, moral ideology, open dialog and honest values.
For over 200 years we have flourished under this system because the people took the initiative and made their own future by determining what it was that needed to be accomplished and having the drive to make it happen. Giving what one made through hard work and personal sacrifice was an independent decision based on moral values and a sense of giving back to a system that allowed them to prosper not an edict from the state.
When re-distribution of wealth becomes the law of the land the people begin to rely more on others than themselves which lessons the desire to create, to prosper, to be more tolerant toward losing their freedom in favor of security and probably most important lose their individual values.
What this causes is a system where those that have become frustrated since they no longer retain the ability to determine their own future hence they reduce the efforts to succeed thus producing less that would contribute to helping those that don't have. When the contributions lesson the state has to reduce goods and services which will always be directed to those that either don't contribute or contribute less which causes those that rely on these goods ans services to exist to become desperate for survival.
Once those that depend on the state for their very existence become disenchanted they become the primary stimulus in a revolt which is the beginning of the end for the country.
This is what those that seek to gain permanent power strive to create. A general public that continues to support their socialistic agenda out of fear that if they lose power their very existence will be in jeopardy. Yet, by supporting that agenda, they are in reality perpetuating their own demise since an all powerful government is never for the people but rather intent on consolidating their own power over the people.
