SOUTH BEND -- On July 3, 2009, Judy Reynolds and Kevin Yoder exchanged vows during a garden ceremony at the Oliver Mansion.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce Petro of Anderson and the late Phil Petro. The groom is the son of Ray and Ida Yoder of Elkhart.

The bride's children, Eric and Allison Reynolds, and the groom's children, Chelsea and Anthony Yoder, attended the couple.

Guests mingled for a social hour before gathering around the bride and groom for the ceremony. A reception followed in the mansion's carriage house.

The newlyweds went on a weekend getaway to South Haven, Mich., and are planning to take a tropical vacation later this year. They now reside at 30405 Deer Pointe, Granger.

The proposal: On the groom's birthday he told the bride he wanted to have dinner at Tabor Hill Winery, where they had their first date. Sitting at the same table, Kevin asked Judy to marry him.
