Why do I have to scroll across the page horizontally to see all the page content?
Chances are your monitor is at a screen resolution of 800 x 600. Like most newer Websites, the newest version of eTruth.com is optimized for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. To view eTruth.com without horizontal scrolling you will need to make adjustments to your Control Panel>Display>Settings on your PC or in your Mac System Preferences. Use your system Help menu for more information on changing screen resolution.
Why does it take a long time for some page content to load in, especially multimedia?
Most news Websites including the newest version of eTruth.com are optimized for high-speed Internet users with DSL or Broadband. To take advantage of all eTruth.com has to offer you may want to consider high-speed service.
Why do I get an invitation to install the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player?
Several new and exciting Website features including slideshows, video and audio use the very latest technology. In order to take advantage of this content you may need to install the latest version of Adobe's free Flash Player plugin.
I'm having problems with eTruth.com on my Windows PC.
eTruth.com uses the latest technologies available to deliver top quality content and features. For best results please us the latest version of Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox will display all our content but may style it slightly different.
I'm having problems with eTruth.com on my Macinstosh.
Unfortunately, some Mac browsers may not work correctly with eTruth.com, especially AOL. For best results try Safari or Firefox.
Online Registration and Accounts
My username and password don't seem to "stick" when I login.
It may be necessary to clear your cookies in Internet Explorer, Firefox and other browsers.
In Internet Explorer go to: Tools> Internet Options> Browsing History> Delete> Cookies> Delete Cookies> Yes> Close> OK. Then hit your F5 key or the Refresh button on your borwser to reload the page and try again.
In Firefox go to: Tools> Options> Privacy> Clear Private Data> Clear Now> OK>. Then hit your F5 key or the Refresh button on your borwser to reload the page and try again.
Username / password recovery
Simply visit our password recovery page and follow the directions. If you do not receive an email from eTruth.com please check your spam or junk mail folder. Some email providers may incorrectly interpret support emails as spam and put them in those folders. To ensure you will receive emails from us, please add the eTruth.com domain to your safe senders list in your email program. For assistance with that see the Help menu of your email program or contact your email service provider. Click here to retrieve your username or password.
How do I get a login name?
eTruth.com requires you to register to view any of our stories, and certain sections of the site. Registering is completely free, and eTruth.com will NEVER give your information away to anyone. To get a FREE eTruth login, simply go here.
I registered and haven’t received my confirmation email yet.
How long has it been since you registered? It may take a bit to get the email to you, certain email systems take a bit longer to process incoming emails. Make sure to check your spam folders to see if it might have been delivered but blocked due to your spam email filter. If it has been longer than 72 hours, and you haven’t received your email, you should either register again, or send a website support contact submission to inquire about your problem.
How do I change my password?
After you have logged in, click Manage My Account at the top of any page.

How can I search the archives?
Currently, our online archives date back to 2001, so any article published after January 1, 2001 can be found through our search engine.
I know the date/section/author of an article, is there an easy way to search for it?
Yes, on our search page, you simply have to click advanced search. You are then offered the option to choose the date, section, author, or any combination of the three to use in your search. Specifying this information helps to narrow down your search and give you results that are closer to what you are looking for.
Why are search terms I enter disappearing?
Some words are so common in articles that searching for them would bring up a large number of articles that have nothing to do with what you are looking for. Because of thise, those words are automatically removed from your search, so that you will only get articles that are relavant to the search you requested.
Photos
Can I order a newspaper photo online?
Yes you can! If you are looking at a story and see a photo you want to order a print of, all you have to do is click the shopping cart icon. Login is required, so if you don’t have one, you will have to register. Once you have logged in, you will see the Purchase page, which you can use to choose the quantity and size of the print you want.

Obituaries
I would like a copy of my relative’s obituary from (date previous to 2001).
Currently, we do not have any electronic archives previous to 2001. If you want to inquire about stories older than that, you will have to call the main office of the Truth.
