ELKHART -- Two Goshen men were killed early Saturday morning after the car they were riding in flipped into a flooded ditch along C.R. 9 near C.R. 28.
When police arrived on scene they found the vehicle lying on its top, partially submerged in the water and Brandon Blosser, 31, and Jason Mast, 34, still in the vehicle.
Both were pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department. Authorities said they weren't sure whether the two men were wearing seatbelts but identified Blosser as the driver.
Police believe the vehicle was heading south on C.R. 9 before the crash. Officers arrived at the scene at 1:47 a.m.
