The city of Elkhart has been specially blessed with a hospital full of wonderful, caring medical personnel and staff. As my husband of 58 years progressed from the ER, to the fourth and then to the sixth floor of the hospital, the nurses and staff were so incredibly caring, helpful, gentle and kind to him and to my family as we struggled with his illness and then with his death.

I cannot say enough kind words about nurses such as Meryl, Ron and Ashley. I only know that they touched my family's life when a gentle human touch was needed most and they made a huge difference in Ivan's last days. Thank you, nurses. Thank you, Elkhart General Hospital.
