ELKHART -- Brian E. Cart, 55, of Elkhart, died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 4, 2009) in his home.

He was born Aug. 8, 1954, in Elkhart to Howard C. and Joyce I. (Rowe) Cart. His father preceded him in death.

Mr. Cart is survived by one daughter, Crystal Taylor of Elkhart; his mother of Elkhart; one stepgrandson; one brother, Howard C. Cart Jr. of Yuma, Ariz.; and one sister, Marsha (Kenneth) Fales of Elkhart.

Mr. Cart had worked in the RV industry as a cabinet maker. He enjoyed listening to Jimmy Buffet music, fishing, NASCAR, camping and drag racing.

A celebration of life gathering will be from 5 to 11 p.m. Sunday at Willowdale Park Pavilion, Elkhart. This will be casual dress and potluck.

Cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Service, 2100 W. Franklin St., is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be given to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
