FORT WAYNE -- Irma Maxine Yoder, 90, of 19801 Antwerp Road, formerly of Goshen and Shipshewana, died at 8:50 a.m. Monday (Dec. 14, 2009) in Woodview Health Care.
She was born July 30, 1919, in Goshen to Chauncey A. and Laura (Ebersole) Stouder. On Sept. 9, 1939, she married Otis O. Yoder in Goshen. He died May 5, 1978.
Mrs. Yoder is survived by one son, Richard O. Yoder of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one daughter, Janet K. (Duane) Dunkin of Harlan; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
She was a homemaker, and with her husband, owned and operated a mink ranch in Shipshewana.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen. The Rev. Stephen Bard of Harlan United Methodist Church will officiate. A private family graveside service will take place in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
