LIGONIER -- Denny Lamar Sanders, 64, of Ligonier, died Tuesday (Dec. 8, 2009) in Steuben County.

Mr. Sanders was born Dec. 14, 1944, to Paul and Betty Sanders. He was married to Carolyn Sanders, who survives with five children, Tim and Susan Sanders, both of Wawaka, Joe Rex of Syracuse, Larry Rex of LaGrange and Amy Rex of White Pigeon, Mich., eight grandchildren; three brothers, Howard (Von) Sanders of Angola, and Donald (Nora) Sanders and Gary (Linda) Sanders, both of Albion.; and two sisters, Julia (Romero) Sanders of Albion and Connie of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Hicks and Jeanie Keene.

Mr. Sanders was a farmer.

Friends may call from today from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service at J.A. Brazzell & Ulrey-Renner Funeral Home, Ligonier. The Rev. Larry R. Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery.
