GOSHEN -- Bradford Allen Shroyer, 48, of 39 Winchestor Trails, died at 8 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 29, 2009) in his home. He had been ill since July with pancreatic cancer.

Born Nov. 9, 1961, in Sturgis, Mich., to Chuck E. and Elinor R. (White) Shroyer, he married Dawn Kling on Aug. 29, 2009.

She survives along with his parents of Goshen; four children, Erin (Derek) Hann of Mishawaka, and Ashley and KaylaJo Butt, and Ryan Shroyer, all of Goshen; two grandchildren; one sister, Kathy L. Shroyer of Elkhart; and one brother, Chuck A. Shroyer of Dunlap.

Mr. Shroyer was a carpenter and had been employed by Fireside for five years, Maples for two years and Team Construction for one year. He was a graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1980 to 1984 in communications as an E5 sergeant. He loved his grandchildren.

Friends may call Friday from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service, all at First United Methodist Church. Pastor Brenda Fritz will officiate. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen, is assisting with arrangements.
