Aug. 25, 1999 - Nov. 13, 2009

NAPPANEE -- Leann Jean Schwartz, 10, of 8099 N. 800 W. Nappanee, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday (Nov. 13, 2009) in her home of complications from Cerebral Palsy.

She was born Aug. 25, 1999, in Plymouth, Ind. to Devon and Esther (Kuhns) Schwartz.

They survive along with one brother, David, at home; seven sisters, Dora, Cheryl, Ruby, Jolene, Debra and Sheila, all at home; one twin sister, Leora; her paternal grandmother, Katie Mae Schwartz of Bourbon; and her maternal grandparents, Roman and Martha Kuhns of Bremen.

Her family members were of the Old Order Amish Church.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Ernest Schwartz.

The body will lay in state all day Sunday at the family residence. Funeral service will be at Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Mark Stutzman Residence, 7806 W. 750 N., Nappanee, with Bishop Marlin Slabaugh of Old Order Amish Church officiating and Home Ministry assisting. Burial will be at Graber Cemetery, Nappanee.

Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
