STEVEN P. ANDERSON

MIDDLEBURY -- Steven Patrick Anderson, 31, of 5875 N. 1120 W., died Saturday (Nov. 7, 2009) in Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich., from injuries suffered in a house fire Oct. 14, 2009, in Mottville Township, Mich.

He was born Nov. 3, 1978, in Elkhart to Kenneth Daryl and Barbara L. (Schlee) Anderson. His father preceded him in death.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his mother, Barbara L. (Dave) Wortinger of Middlebury; one sister, Kimberly L. Monroe of White Pigeon, Mich.; one half-brother, Stephen P. Crow of Pataskala, Ohio; one daughter, Mackenzie Anderson of Sturgis, Mich.; one son, William Anderson of Sturgis; and his grandmother, Marie Schlee of Postville, Iowa.

He was last employed by T&L Industries, Middlebury, and had worked in the trailer manufacturing business. He enjoyed working on cars and was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle fan.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be at Whole Life Christian Fellowship, Sturgis, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Pastor Ron Schultz will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.

Farrand Funeral Home, 300 N. Kalamazoo St., White Pigeon, is in charge of arrangements.
