GOSHEN -- Linda R. Hoover, 61, of 711 S. Main St., died at 2:20 p.m. Monday (Nov. 2, 2009) in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

She was born March 1, 1948, in Goshen to James and Lucille (Knight) Trainor. On Aug. 13, 1965, she married Steven Hoover, who survives along with one son, Jamerson "Jamie" (Julie) Hoover of Goshen; one daughter, Teresa (Larry) Hill of Goshen; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest "Butch" Knight of Syracuse; and one sister, Betty (Marlin "Mike") of Goshen.

Mrs. Hoover worked in the deli at Walmart Supercenter, south of Goshen. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where the funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday. James Fischer of Crossroads Community Church, Elkhart, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
