GOSHEN -- Monna R. Chrisman, 72, of Goshen, died at 12:24 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 1, 2009) at Goshen General Hospital.
She was born on May 31, 1937, in Goshen to Clyde E. and Mildred (Weir) Dorsett. On Feb. 27, 1960, she married Carroll G. Chrisman in Goshen.
She is survived by one daughter, Hillary Jan Chrisman of Goshen; her twin sister, Donna (Arthur) Henkel of South Bend; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher C. Chrisman; and one brother, Donald R. Dorsett.
Ms. Chrisman was a teacher at Fairfield Junior High School and retired from Weiland Design in 1991 as a group leader. She graduated from Goshen High School in 1955, attended Franklin College, and graduated from Goshen College in 1975.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 South Main St., Goshen. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m., with her nephew, the Rev. Doug Henkel of Broken Arrow, Okla., officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Brown Cemetery in Millersburg.
