MISHAWAKA -- Paul R. Dawson Jr., 52, of Mishawaka died at 8 p.m. Monday (Oct. 26, 2009) in his home.

He was born June 8, 1957, in South Bend, and was a member of the International Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.

Mr. Dawson is survived by his children, Daniele Dallman of Kirkland, Wash., Paul Dawson III of South Bend, and Tiffany Madden and Jason A. Dawson, both of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; two siblings, Tim (Julie) Dawson of Elkhart and Vickie (Dawson) Newlin of South Bend; his father and stepmother, Paul Sr. and Germaine Dawson of South Bend; his mother, Judy Hildebrand of Florida; four stepsisters, Janet (Mic) Cox of Kewanna, Joyce (Jerry) Ginther of Akron, Priscilla (Jeff) Kreger of Mishawaka and Georgian (Jeff) Vervaet of Walkerton; and one stepbrother, Jay Hildebrand of Kalamazoo, Mich.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Ervin Mize will officiate.

Memorials may be given to the family.
