ELKHART -- Robert D. Yoder, 75, of Woodland Manor, died at 1:20 a.m. Friday (Oct. 2, 2009) in Woodland Manor.
He was born June 27, 1934, in Goshen to George W. and Ethel "Skeets" (Yoder) Yoder.
He is survived by one sister, Betty Dickison of Goshen; one son, Bobby Larson of Akron, Ind.; one daughter, Vicki; and three grandchildren.
Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, is in charge of arrangements. A funeral service will be take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 24 in Whitehead Cemetery, when burial will also take place. Pastor Dwayne Runkle of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren will preside.
Mr. Yoder, formerly of New Paris, served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an auto mechanic at Yoder GMC Garage and belonged to Maple Grove Church of the Brethren.
