BARODA, Mich. -- Robert Lynn Horton, 56, of West Shawnee Road, died late Thursday (Sept. 17, 2009 in Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph.

He was born March 18, 1951, to Arthur and Irma (Dover) Horton in Plymouth, Ind.

Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, Michael (Ashley) Horton of Stoneville, N.C., and Kenneth (Amanda) Horton of Baroda; nine grandchildren; seven siblings, Ellen (Joe) Zebell of Three Oaks, David Horton of Galien, Donny (Debbie) Horton of Taylorsville, N.C., Russell Horton of Oklahoma, Rex (Robin) Horton of Elkhart, Ind., Donna (Larry) Eeson of Dowagiac, Jeff Horton of New Buffalo; one sister-in-law, Connie Horton; and one brother-in-law, Ronnie Norris.

He was preceded in death by three siblings, John and Art Horton, and sister, Jean Norris.

Cremation will take place and funeral services will be private. Brown Funeral Home, Niles, is assisting with arrangements.
