H. Ernest Bennett, 94, of 1225 Greencroft Drive, died at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 18, 2009) in Greencroft Healthcare. He was born Jan. 22, 1915, in Cumberland, Md., to Frank and Theoda (Collins) Bennett. On July 12, 1941, he married Earla Ruth Hostetter in Pennsylvania.

Harold "Hank" Dwayne Clark, 40, of Bowling Green, Ky., died Oct. 27, 2009, after a two-year battle with cancer. His wife of 18 years, Shelly (Bushong) Clark survives with four children, Dalton, Logan, MaKenzie and Brooke; and his parents, Carolyn and Roger Clark of Bowling Green.

Nov. 8, 1952 - Nov. 17, 2009 MISHAWAKA - James Lee Reeves, age 57, of Mishawaka, passed away November 17, 2009 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend. Mr. Reeves was born November 8, 1952 in Mishawaka to the late Wilbur C. and Margaret (Garlanger) Reeves. A 1972 graduate of Penn High School, Jim went on to receive his Bachelors Degree in Parks and Recreation at Indiana State University. Surviving is his brother, Charles (Christy) Reeves of Valparaiso, Indiana, and 2 nephews, Chaz and Brandon Reeves. Jim is also survived by his Uncle, Mike Reeves of Mishawaka. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Jim was employed for over 20 years by the Bashor Home in Elkhart as a youth counselor, and director of recreation. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed playing golf, riding his bike and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers. Jim also attended Granger Community Church, where he was baptized last year.
