ELKHART -- Get a free pose with Santa and Mrs. Claus for donating much-needed nonperishable food to an area food pantry.

The season's most recognizable couple will be at Linton's Enchanted Gardens, 54360 C.R. 17, from noon to 5 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 28, and Dec. 5 and 12.

Families may bring their cameras to take pictures.

Everyone in the picture should bring at least one food item to donate to Guidance Ministries.

The shelves at Guidance Ministries' food pantry are nearly empty, according to director of daily operations Jim Mentz. Donations of canned meat will be particularly welcome.

Children who visit Linton's on these dates will be permitted to pull a coupon from Santa's bag to enter a contest for gifts such as passes to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
