If the turkey is overdone, or if you're so done with cooking for a Thanksgiving crowd, Elkhart County restaurants will have tables set for you.
Restaurants open Thursday include:
* Cracker Barrel, 110 Northpointe Blvd, Elkhart, 264-6963, will be open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., but is serving an $8.99 Thanksgiving meal ($4.49 for children) starting at 11 a.m. Carry-out will also be available, including a $49.99 meal for six people.
* Culinary Treasures, 204 S. Main St., Middlebury, will have a buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are required. The cost is $22.95 per person. A number of gourmet courses will available, according to owner Tami Osborn.
* Callahan's, 2917 Cassopolis St., will be open until 3 p.m. with its normal menu, but close until 4 a.m. Friday. Seniors can eat free Thursday.
* River Inn, 304 E. Vistula, Bristol, will serve its popular turkey or roast beef dinners for $8.99. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
* Bob Evans restaurants in Elkhart and Goshen will have a ready cooked meal for $74.99 (feeds six to eight).
The County Seat, 124 W. Jefferson, Goshen, will not be open Thursday, as the initial version of this story indicated. It will offer a Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
