EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- The owner of an SUV that police were looking for in connection with an early morning fire Oct. 26 at Legends Bar & Grill has come forward. The owner is from Mishawaka, Ind., Michigan State Police said Tuesday. He has an attorney and has declined an interview with investigators.

The car was believed to be a Ford Explorer, a Jeep Cherokee or a similar style and was near the building when it was on fire, according to Michigan State Police in Niles. Police do not know how many people were in the SUV when it was seen near the scene of the fire.

Anyone with information regarding the investigation can call the MSP Niles post at (269) 683-4411.
