An Elkhart man was treated at a Fort Wayne Hospital last week after he jumped naked off a train in Ligonier.
The 23-year-old man walked up to a Ligonier Police officer at 1:14 a.m. Thursday, completely naked and covered with blood from deep cuts on his head and face, according to a police report.
The man identified himself to police as Jesus Christ and said he jumped from the train because of sin, calling the jump his punishment.
Police got his name and age, then called for an ambulance. He was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, according to police. The man was no longer at the hospital as of Monday morning.
