Local residents can sign up for the Christmas assistance program at the Bristol United Methodist Church, 201 S. Division St.

Applications, due by Nov. 10, for food baskets and toys are available at the community food pantry, corner of U.S. 120 and S.R. 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays and at Bristol Elementary School.

Also, interested families can adopt Bristol residents.
