Seven Elkhart County residents have signed up for a year or more of service through Mennonite Mission Network and began their work in August.
* Isaac Blosser began a one-year term with Service Adventure in Anchorage.
* Naomi Blosser began a one year term with the Radical Journey program and is serving with a team in Paraguay.
* Jared Christophel is serving a one-year term with Service Adventure in Philippi, W.Va.
* Jonathan and Julie Fridley of Elkhart began a two-year term as a leaders for the Service Adventure program in July. They are living in community and helping to provide support for young adults in a unit house in Albany, Ore.
* Sam Jacobs of Goshen is spending a one-year term with Service Adventure in Albuquerque, N.M.
* Nicole Smith of Elkhart began a one-year term with Service Adventure in Anchorage.
