Transport yourself to 16th century England by attending the annual Lakes Area Madrigal Dinner scheduled for Dec. 4-6, 11 and 12 at Quaker Haven Camp, 111 EMS D16C Lane, Syracuse. Tickets include the show and a meal and may be reserved by calling 834-4193.

Knollbrook Farms, 15463 C.R. 46, New Paris, has an educational corn maze ready for those who know their Revolutionary War. You-pick pumpkins, tricycle track and fall flowers and decorations also available. Open 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Dr. Buzzsaw's Haunted Hospital and Buzzsaw's Basement are open for business from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday. The deranged medical geniuses specialize in brain surgeries, blood donations, psychiatric treatment and grave services, if required. Visit them at 3114 U.S. 30 E., Warsaw.

American Countryside Farmers Market invites children of all ages to dress in costume and collect treats from vendors all day Saturday. Taco Nacho the clown will perform from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a puppet show takes place stage from 1 to 3 p.m. Pony and wagon rides outside all day.

Greenleaf Living Center will host a community trick-or-treat event from 6 to 7 p.m. today . Indoors and open to the public. The residents will distribute candy. The center is at 1201 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart. For more information call 206-0086.

Concord Mall will have a Make Your Own Costume Contest beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Four categories according to age, from babies to adults. For more information call 875-6502. The mall is at 3701 S. Main St., Elkhart.

Entry forms for a Nov. 14 Snow Princess Scholarship Pageant at Concord Mall are due Friday. Female high school and college students may participate. Contestants will be judged on scholarship, poise, presence, fitness and personal interview. Scholarship money will be awarded. For more information call 875-6502. The mall is at 3701 S.
