Let's discuss 'Wakarusa property taxes are pricey per capita'.
Wakarusa is the most expensive community here while Concord Community Schools is the priciest school district, at least in terms of the property taxes each requires to operate per resident or student.

| Boy oh boy! Wakarusa in the news for this?! I am surprised there are no feedback comments. Well, I have spoken to 2 residents of Wakarusa who both said their taxes did NOT go down in this latest 'tax reconciliation" notice they had. And that the taxes were based on 2006 evaluations when everyones properties were worth more than today. Then they gave only 9 days to do come up with the payment from when the bill was sent out. How is that right? In South Bend they have until early Dec to get their paid. Troubling times.....
