Let's discuss 'Stimulus bucks tabbed for Goshen road projects'.
The next phase of federally funded transportation projects is starting to roll in Goshen, though some stimulus-funded projects won't happen until more than a year after Congress passed the stimulus package.

Well it looks like NIBLOC will be busy again.....sure glad to see all this stimulus money going into their pockets...I'll bet they are smiling ear to ear while the rest of us drive on by the pillars and road construction signs on our way to the food stamp office.
Are you hiring NIBLOC? And if not......so much for the extra jobs this would produce!

watchado33 (11/9/2009) Well it looks like NIBLOC will be busy again.....sure glad to see all this stimulus money going into their pockets...I'll bet they are smiling ear to ear while the rest of us drive on by the pillars and road construction signs on our way to the food stamp office.
Are you hiring NIBLOC? And if not......so much for the extra jobs this would produce! This is a very short-sighted view of this situation. There is more to this than simply giving money to Niblock. Their people get paid, they spend money at other businesses, those people get paid, and on down the line. The stimulus funds are also intended to preserve jobs. Maybe if you were furthering your education or out looking for a job, instead of surfing the Net, you wouldn't be in such dire straits. This includes jobs that are less than "the perfect job." Years ago when my wife was newly divorced, she took her masters degree off her resume and worked for a temp agency until she found a more appropriate job. You do what you have to do...

| SUV: Do you know watchado 33 personally? If not what gives you the right to make a statement about him spending all of his time searching the Net and not looking for a job? You're pathetic. Looks like watchado33 has made 5 posts on this site and you've made over 500. So who's the one wasting their time posting on the net. Look in the mirror and you'll find the answer. As far as your post about the stimulus money preserving jobs (the offical word by the way is saving) apparently you haven't taken the time to visit the Recovery.gov web site. It is one of the biggest con jobs pulled on the American people ever. Pull it up and look at Elkhart county, Indiana. See for yourself how many jobs have been created or saved here in Elkhart. Not only are there very few reported by Recovery.gov but the ones that are reported are a total sham. Almost $4 million spent and 24 jobs created by repaving the airport runway. That project lasted for about 3 months. A total of 14 jobs created or saved reported by two apartment complexes here in Elkhart after they each received $ 45,000 in stimulus for rent subsidies. Two jobs created or saved after Elkhart county received over $ 2.7 million in stimulus for some type of a lead paint detection program. There's more if you care to look. Millions more handed out and no jobs reported created or saved. The newspaper, Sacramento Bee, did an investigation on the stimulus money that was spent in California and the jobs that were reported as saved or created. For example the higher public education department of California had claimed that 100,000 jobs were saved with the $ 250 million that they had received from stimulus. This was out of a total workforce of 200,000 statewide. When the newspaper questioned the department on how this stimulus saved 50% of the total jobs the department's spokesperson said that the 100,000 jobs number was just an accounting entry. In other words it's all an outright lie. But you, SUV Hater, can buy it hook line and sinker because it's coming from the one you adore and his administration. The American people are not stupid. They're starting to figure all of this out and 10.2% of them are offically out of work and there's at least another 10% who want full time work but can't find it. The cake eaters are becoming a restless bunch.
