Let's discuss 'Elkhart police out and about for 'Move Over Law''.
Elkhart police were out in force Oct. 23, ticketing motorists speeding in a school zone and enforcing the "Move Over Law." Designed for officer safety, the law requires motorists to either slow down or change lanes when they drive past an emergency vehicle with its lights on.

LOL...its a good idea but FIRST the police handing out these speeding tickets must SET AN EXAMPLE & do the allowed 20mph in these school zones(which they don' cuz i have followed them in school zones) & the school buses themselves are just as guilty for speeding in the school zones but ya don't see the cops nor the bus drivers getting any speeding tickets for speeding in the school zones!!! Which is why I turn in the numbers on the cop cars & buses i see speeding in school zones. Hell, the police have an entrapment set going on over on Cassopolis St.cuz elkhart city is too lazy to take down the 'Men At Work' signs, so turn about is only fair play, if the police won't do the allowed 20mph in school zones & speed in construction work zones & if I see ya, you will be reported, don't ya'll just love dumb hillbillys!?! I have been b**ching about these cops speeding in school zones since 3-7-09, even wrote a blog about it, what will help is for EVERYONE who sees a speeding cop or bus in these zones, report them, it's only fair, it's not the citizens fault that the cops have us DOING WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING AS WE DRIVE & now, like I've said before, the cops can't meet their quota of tickets a month so they have to entrap us(ooohhh, & i think that's illegal)
