Let's discuss 'Local digest — Mottville resident severely burned in house fire'.
A fire at a home in Mottville, just north of Bristol, severely burned one resident and injured a firefighter Wednesday. White Pigeon firefighters responded to a fire at 70782 Thomas St. around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Steven Anderson, 31, was transported from the scene by helicopter after suffering third-degree burns over 48 percent of his body. He was in critical condition Thursday evening at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

| My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Its a tragic event to go through, but Bronson is a wonderful hospital, and they will do everything within their power to help him. My heart truly goes out to you.
