Let's discuss 'Scheduled participants at Black Expo events confirm they never happened'.
Scheduled participants in two Elkhart Black Expo events in 2008 funded by Genesis grants confirm that the programs didn't occur. But invoices were turned into the city prior to the events and paid for though the City Controller's Office without adequate documentation.

| So, once again no word from the Mayor's office? If this happened on Millers's watch, then he should be haeld liable as well. Time for the State to step in as I have said before. Time to count ALL the pennies in the piggybank. Now is the time for the Mayor to call on the parties holding these postions to step down and face the music. Oh wait a minute... wasn't that already paid for?

| Robinson's is another job opening that could be filled by someone competent. What a misallocation of labor and management resources in this city. It robs every one of us of potential future wealth and quality of life. No wonder our town never quite finds the way forward. And everybody suffers for it, rich, poor, middle class, every ethnicity. Not just in taxation but missed private economic activity that never happens because talented people aren't in their optimal spots in the first place and low morale.

| A big thank to Stephanie Gattman for her investigation of this issue! Obviously there needs to be more investigation of certain parties and the recovery of said monies allocated for events that never happened. I'm not surprised by any of this, but the bottom line is,anyone involved, namely Arvis Dawson,Traci Porter and Dick Moore, and the Black Expo as a whole, need to pay said monies back to the fund and be prosecuted for missallocation of government money. The crime is called theft and any parties that benefited from said monies or aided in the distribution of these missallocated funds,or had knowlege of, need to be included in a class action law suit, filed by the prosecutor's office. These people need to be arrested, photographed and locked up for the criminals they are, just as any other citizen in violation of law would be held in detention for a crime. We as the tax- paying citizens of Elkhart can accept nothing less! On a further note,I also question why people went to Disney World and received voice lessons on Genesis money. But that is another issue in and of it's own.
