Let's discuss 'Michael Moore’s film about hard times comes to Elkhart'.

Local film patrons showed their love for Michael Moore Thursday night. Several hundred people attended a free screening of Moore's new film "Capitalism: A Love Story" at Carmike Encore Park. Marketing and theatre officials were ready for the capacity crowd, which arrived well in advance to see Moore's two-hour take on America's economic woes.

OK, where was the "love"???
Who attended? Anybody you know save for a few Truth Kiddies?

No wonder the film was free of charge.
Nobody would have paid to see it....

I went to see it and they had to add an additional screen because so many people showed up. I would have paid to see it as well and If you would get you head out of the mashed potato's "MA KETTLE" you might learn something before it is too late although in your case I fear it may already be too late.

Must have been a bunch of deadbeats that couldn't afford to see a real movie.

I find it troubling that Michael Moore, who is worth approx. $50 million, makes a movie about fat rich guys that made their money because of capitalism, but forgot to record himself, who is a fat rich guy that made his millions because of capitalism.

You fans, I'm sure you don't realize this because most extreme left-wingnuts are not well read, but Moore has owned, or now owns stock in Halliburton, Pfizer, Merck, Genzyme, Elan PLC, Eli Lilly, Becton Dickinson and Boston Scientific, Sunoco, Noble Energy, Schlumberger, Williams Companies, Transocean Sedco Forex and Anadarko, Noble, Ford, General Electric, AOL Time Warner, and McDonald's. He tells the press (That will still cover him) that he owns no stock, yet his IRS filings tell the true story.

When the Concorde was still flying, he would take that big "green" machine over to Europe occasionally and stay at the Ritz hotel, while booking a cheap hotel room down the street to meet reporters.

I suppose you guys are big fans of Roman Polanski too?

Prior to my exposure to Michael Moore's cinematic projects, I had the misconception a 'Documentarian' was one who archived or gave truthful insight to a topic. That sums up the total enlightment I've received from his contorted works.

Goofy, I am not a deadbeat and I was there last night.

Were it not being shown beforehand for free, I'd have bought tickets and saw it today when it opens.

In light of what the movie actually consists of, your post is foolish comedy. Keep repeating yourself. The more people see the movie as days go by the more pointless you'll make yourself appear to be.

Michael Moore, like him or hate him, nailed so many things in this movie. It is unfortunate that whomever wrote this article included the shallow criticisms at the end.

I'm not arguing this time with anybody too intellectually lazy to watch a movie for themselves and come up with their own points. Those who want to know what it's about will see it. Those who don't will still make the most noise. HOw it always works.

Goof, your infantile name calling doesn't help.  Serves no purpose and makes points only for your opposition.

You should go set up your lawn chair at the C.R. 17 bridge project and keep a look out for more evidence of debauchery down there.

Goofy, first off your not worth my time but what the heck I have wasted time before. You show just how highly educated you are by commenting on a film you have never seen. Some people do have  an opinion on more than just the things they do not like. Michael Moore may be rich but he lives in a capitalist society and he found a way to make his opinion known and have people pay to hear it. Something your highly educated Butt can't figure out how to do. That is why you are here everyday all day long making your stupid whiny comments that no one wants to hear. I know you lose and the other die hardhead republicons lose sleep every night trying to think of a plan to stop Michael Moore from making so much money, I know it eats at your soulless heart. Get some sleep and forget about it, you will feel better in the morning.

One needs to look no further than Goof Troops' stupid insulting little icon to know that the time it takes to read his infantile rants is time you won't get back.
