Let's discuss 'Dining A La King: 25 years later, the County Seat still has the best breakfast'.
Fritz Huser worried that no one would show up on their first day of business at the County Seat Cafe. She and her husband at the time, Lee, opened at 124 W. Jefferson St. around Labor Day 1984. She'd worked 25 years at Plain & Fancy nearby when they took over the Sunshine Inn. After cleaning the grease and dirt, they opened a cafe where every one of the 25 seats had a view of the grill.

| If you aren't full when you leave the seat that's your own fault. Not a better breakfast around. IMO

I've gone to County Seat a couple of times, years back and not really my cup of tea, but I guess if you like that style they are o.k. personally I prefer Cracker Barrel for breakfast....mmmmmm

| Fresh, homemade right where you can see them cooking. Went there for lunch today and it was as wonderful as ever. 1/2 Fritz w/gravy and sausage patty. I loved it but, my cardiologist probably would frown bigtime!
