Let's discuss 'U.S. Rep. Joe Donnelly's push got RV loans in bailout plans'.

Loans to recreational vehicle dealers and consumers could be easier to come by if Congress authorizes the release of $350 billion associated with the financial rescue plan passed last year.

Say it aint so Joe. What a novel idea. The government insuring banks that they won't take a loss if RV dealers and RV buyers default on their loans. Lets see. We've seen this rodeo before with the bailouts of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other insolvent financial institutions. That worked out so well let's just expand it from mortgage loans to include credit cards, car loans and RV loans. Who better to co sign for a loan than Uncle Sam. Beats the heck out of uncle Henry. Banks can start throwing out their risk analysis and lending standards again. Happy days are here again. The days of easy credit have returned. Can uncle Eddie get one of those no money down RV loans with his 500 credit score. His other RV is about to go out.

I heard a radio news discussion out of Seattle a few months back ... before TARP and the fall out ......  it was a "financial psychologist" who in his resume acknowledged consulting with the Fed Reserve and Treasury .....  and he claimed that studies indicate that people with less money behave better....

He also went on to speak of government regulating all financial trasactions such that no financial instrument would never be available to a given individual that would potentially fail.

Call it financial profiling ....
