Let's discuss 'We talked to our stable of local lawmakers to see what's on their wishlists'.
Craig Fry wants to make sure neighbors -- like those living near VIM Recycling in Baugo Township -- can get money from the state to sue polluters.

| Why don't all of them work on a law that would be better than the only law on the board for the State of Indiana and that is a "Nuisance Law" which is worthless, where there is manufacturing noise to content with and pollution issues such as VIM which City Councils close their eyes and backs to, and I don't agree that fire departments need to be paid back to go to the toll road to assist, isn't that coming out of the taxpayers' pockets already and the rest should come out of insurance company pockets, but I know a city where there is an alcoholic fire chief, that kind of money in his hands, NO! Brand new fire dept., alcoholic chief, one fire department gives out smoke detectors, helps people in need, one gets a grant for carbon monoxide detectors so they can sell them to homeowners' for $5.00, another fire dept. does other good deeds, this one can't even throw a good fish fry, on the judges, some of the judges in Elkhart County need to be replaced, they don't set down harsh enough sentences and that is a big red flag. Tiptoeing around the criminal. I think the Governor should appoint the judges and six years even is too long for one to set on a bench and up on that high horse. I'd like to know who is the boss of the police force? Is it the Council President, if it is, Man, no wonder city's have problems. I think Gov. Daniels is making some good changes and for the better.
