I Loved Palins cheap shots at community activisim, you know the 1000 points of light that they used to hold so near and dear.Maybe one of those points of light could have explained the birds and bees to her daughter. Plus McCAin's sure getting a lot of milage out of his military career for someone who was shot down out of a multi million dollar jet and was on a boat when it blew up. How that makes him presidential material I dont know, but if they are casting for a remake of F troop maybe he could get the Larry Storch role. Audie Murphy he ain't. Just check how King G swift boated him on youtube. Ah memories...

There are not enough "depends" in the world that could contain your bowel movements if, in the unlikely event, you ever ended up in the cockpit of a fighter jet and were ordered to fly it on a combat mission. There is not enough kleenex in the world that could absorb your baby tears if you were ever thrown into a 4' x 6' box in an enemy POW camp. Your hero is someone who doesn't have enough hand-eye coordination to throw a bowling ball down the alley yet you have the nerve to mock a combat veteran.

<<you have the nerve to mock a combat veteran. >>

I have lots of respect for all combat veteran no matter which war they fought in.  But I do question how failing in combat, by being shot down and then taken prisoner makes one an hero.  If that is all it takes, then he should have been an hero after crashing one plane into the water or having to bailout of another due to flame out or even after cutting power wires by flying to low.

All of those successful missions that he completed do make him an hero but being shot down should not.  After being shot down his behavior in the POW camps even when he did give the confession made him a hero.  To hold for that long and then return to holding that strong is what makes an hero.

But I do have a large question about what being able to withstand being a POW has to do with being able to do any job now, no matter what the job is.  The amount of time at the convention by a number of speakers in talking about his being shotdown and taken prisoner almost made it appear as if he lacks some of the planning and ideas to be the POTUS, instead of showing why he would be good for us.

And John McCain is the last Republican that I voted for while running for President.  I voted for him against Bush in the 2000 Michigan primary, and would have voted for him in the fall if he had won.  Since he didn't I returned to my normal vote for the Democratic candidate in the fall of 2000.  This fall will make the tenth time in a row not voting for a Republican for President in the fall.

The dems made complete fools of themselves on this one.  I hope they don't keep stepping in it like this.

How?

I remember getting off that plane in LAX with six others in uniform. Bright sunny day, no rain, just glad to be back to the States.

Pretty girls in tank tops, cut off jeans, throwing dog droppings out of brown paper bags at us. A fence separated us so their spitting was ineffective and out of range.

I guess things have not changed much in 36 years.

There will always be malcontents and anarchists to deal with. They never stood the watch so how will they ever know?Forgive them God, they know not what they do.

Gingles:

Obviously you are not a veteran and you know nothing of military valor. Do you know how many men have been killed in battle who have won the Medal of Honor. Are they heros or were they just too stupid that they couldn't keep themselves alive in the heat of the battle. Of course someone like Barrack Obama would never have been shot down if he ever would have been a fighter pilot. He is much too talented to let something like a little sam take down a plane he was flying. You don't get it and you'll never get it. If you don't like people talking about the service McCain gave to this country don't listen to it.

If someone has a legal copy of a song they can do with it what they want. Just like anything else that is made.

So what the musician doesn't like where the song is played.

And just where did you get your law degree?

http://www.clearance.com/

PS I wouldn't plan on producing movies anytime soon, truthuser.

From Clearance:

-Overview

In order to obtain permission to use a song or recording in a TV show or
motion picture, producers must clear synchronization rights. The copyright law gives the creator or copyright owner absolute authority to grant these rights, therefore the process of clearing sync rights is

- Not Automatic.
- Not Compulsory.
- Not Instantaneous.
- Completely Negotiable.

Just what I said a legal copy and notice it says TV show or motion picture.

Can you please explain me how a musician is ripped off if there is a legal copy for what the music is intended to be used for?

I guess you can't disagree with what was said so you go after a song.

Could you please quote the law to correct me?

Was the RepubliCON convention not a TV show? And a rather funny one at that.

I never claimed to be a lawyer but it's fairly common knowledge that you can't just take someone's song and use it for free. Apparently the Connies have a history of doing this. Google Chrissie Hynde and Druggy Limbaugh.
