Description

Using the sun as a primary energy source is gaining popularity across the country. It is a clean and renewable energy source that can help homeowners reduce their impact on the environment and save money. On Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 6 pm the Elkhart Environmental Center will hold Green Building Series Part 3: Basic Photovoltaics. This free, introductory seminar will cover the fundamental aspects of photovoltaic systems, take a look at various solar technologies as well as why solar panels work well to produce energy. Participants will come away with basic knowledge of solar energy systems and be ready to start implementing these techniques into their homes.
